The Turkmen Transport and Logistics Center (TULM), the country’s railway operator, has completed its first shipment along the Turkey–Turkmenistan–Kyrgyzstan route, TULM announced.
As part of the international transport corridor "Europe–Central Asia," TULM continues to expand large-scale multimodal transportation.
In August, a United Nations humanitarian cargo arrived on Turkish wagons at Etrek station, where it was transferred onto CIS wagons and dispatched to Osh railway station in Kyrgyzstan.
Established by presidential decree on July 31, 2018, the Turkmen Transport and Logistics Center’s main objectives are to develop the country’s transport and logistics system, increase transit shipment volumes, and provide effective logistics solutions for the delivery of transit, export, and import cargo from sender to recipient.
