Babasadyk Churiyev, a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, has exported more than 165 tons of Tokaychy-branded mushrooms to foreign markets, according to a report published on Monday in the Rysgal newspaper.

The entrepreneur’s facility is located in the “Uzumchilik” farmers’ association of Gokdepe district in Ahal vela yatyshym, where 1 to 1.5 tons of mushrooms are produced daily.

According to the report, 3 out of 6 hectares of state-allocated land are designated for greenhouse cultivation.

“Our mushrooms stand out for their ecological purity and rich flavor. We pay special attention to making our products affordable for the public,” Churiyev said. “In this regard, we’ve also launched the production of compost fertilizer, which is a key raw material for mushroom cultivation.”

The fresh mushrooms, known for their environmentally friendly qualities and unique taste, are regularly delivered to retail outlets and markets across Turkmenistan.
