Representatives of Turkmenbashi International Seaport and Pakistan’s Gwadar and Karachi ports held a video conference on June 17, 2025, during which both sides announced their readiness to sign a memorandum of understanding between Turkmenbashi International Seaport and Gwadar Port, the Turkmenbashi International Seaport reported on Thursday.
During the talks, representatives from Gwadar and Karachi ports emphasized strengthening mutual cooperation and continuing friendly, fraternal relations, while also sharing their experience in port management and operations.
Representatives of Turkmenbashi International Seaport, in turn, provided an overview of ongoing operations, including cargo loading and unloading processes, import, export, and transit routes for various types of cargo, customer-friendly conditions, and the port’s capabilities in compliance with international standards.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed gratitude for the exchange of mutually beneficial experience and expressed interest in holding similar meetings in the future.
