President Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held talks on Monday with Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh during his state visit to Mongolia, as reported by Turkmenistan’s state news agency.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed sincere gratitude to President Khurelsukh for the official invitation and warm hospitality extended during the visit.
Taking the opportunity, Turkmen President conveyed greetings and best wishes from the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

In this regard, the Turkmen leader reaffirmed that Turkmenistan is committed to developing and expanding cooperation with Mongolia in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
President Berdimuhamedov noted that the current visit is intended to give new momentum to bilateral relations and expressed confidence that the goals set would be achieved through joint efforts.
The visit is expected to conclude with the signing of intergovernmental and interagency agreements aimed at strengthening the legal framework of cooperation.
The program also includes a Turkmen-Mongolian business forum, an exhibition of Turkmen carpets and decorative arts, as well as a joint cultural event.
