Turkmen Delegation Explores Investment Opportunities in Kazakhstan’s Turkistan Region
A Turkmen delegation, led by Deryageldi Orazov, chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the City of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan, visited Kazakhstan’s Turkistan Region to explore investment opportunities, as reported by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Kazakhstan on Saturday.
During a meeting with Turkistan Region Akim Nurlan Kusherbayev, both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation between Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan. Special attention was given to prospects for collaboration in the cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as knowledge and experience exchange.
The Akim provided an overview of industrial zones and small industrial parks that offer foreign companies land plots under preferential conditions or ready-made production facilities. For investors focused on deep processing industries, the TURAN Special Economic Zone offers tax and customs incentives.
Following the meeting, both parties expressed readiness to implement new joint initiatives and reaffirmed their commitment to expanding bilateral cooperation.
