Turkmenistan’s capital hosted the first-ever FinFest Turkmenistan 2025 on April 19, uniting experts, entrepreneurs, and a broad audience around the topic of financial literacy. The event was organized with the participation of economic societies (ES) Financial Center Ygtybarly and Açyk ýürek, with support from the Union of Economists of Turkmenistan.
The program featured speeches by leading industry experts, including Olga Charyeva, Sergey Mineyev, Nurmyrat Annamuradov, Chary Faizullaev, Maksat Annayev, and Jeren Rejepova. Topics ranged from behavioral psychology in finance to the risks of using unlicensed software in business.
FinFest Turkmenistan 2025 marked a significant step in promoting financial awareness and dialogue in the country, with plans to make it an annual event in the national calendar.
FinFest Turkmenistan 2025 created an open platform for dialogue between the public and representatives of banks, insurance firms, and investment companies. Participants had the chance to receive practical consultations, explore new financial tools, and discuss current market trends.
“FinFest is a vibrant dialogue, an exchange of experience, and a step toward financial awareness,” said Olga Charyeva, Director of ES Açyk ýürek.
The festival’s program featured expert presentations and a panel discussion focused on the development of financial technologies and education in the country. The event concluded with a financial literacy competition, engaging participants in an interactive and educational finale.
