Turkmenistan’s President Serdar Berdimuhamedov Embarks on Working Visit to Japan

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov departed for a working visit to Japan on Sunday. 

According to official Turkmen media, government officials saw him off at Ashgabat International Airport.

During the visit, the President will attend ceremonial events marking Turkmenistan’s National Day at World Expo 2025 and will hold a number of meetings with high-level officials.

Turkmenistan’s National Day will be celebrated on April 14 this year, with the country’s national pavilion showcasing its cultural heritage, handmade carpets, industrial products, achievements since independence, as well as traditional cuisine and souvenirs.
