President of Turkmenistan Attends Opening of Climate Forum in Samarkand

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov attended the opening ceremony of the international forum Central Asia Facing Global Climate Issues: Consolidation for Shared Prosperity on Friday in Samarkand.

The event, held at the Congress Center of the Silk Road Samarkand complex, was a significant event in the global environmental agenda, as reported by the official media of Turkmenistan.

The two-day forum gathered high-profile participants, including Presidents of Central Asian countries, European Union leaders, global experts, government officials, and representatives of international organizations and financial institutions.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov also participated in the first Central Asia–European Union Summit.
