Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Ukraine Toyly Atayev met with President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova Sergey Harya and Vice President Mikhail Byulba in Chisinau on Wednesday. During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of partnership between the business communities of the two countries, as reported by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Ukraine.

The republic is interested in expanding mutual trade volumes, according to the head of the Moldovan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Transportation logistics received special attention. Ambassador Atayev emphasized Turkmenistan's strategic importance as a developing international logistics hub, highlighted the significance of the seaport in Turkmenbashy, and discussed the development of new transit corridors. He also pointed to the promising Caspian Sea — Black Sea route, which connects Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Romania.
The participants of the talks expressed their readiness to further activate cooperation in business and investment.
At the end of the meeting, the Turkmen side invited their Moldovan partners to participate in upcoming events in Turkmenistan, including a national carpet exhibition to be held in May in Ashgabat.
