President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed his condolences to King Felipe VI of Spain following the tragic consequences of severe flooding caused by torrential rains in Spain, as reported by official Turkmen media on Friday.
In his message, the President conveyed heartfelt sympathy and support to the families and loved ones of the victims on behalf of the people and government of Turkmenistan, along with wishes for a swift recovery to those injured.
The floods, which struck on October 29 due to heavy rainfall in southeastern Spain, caused numerous fatalities and destruction, impacting the regions of Valencia, Castile-La Mancha, and eastern Andalusia.
According to Euronews on Friday, 205 people have been reported dead, with 202 of those fatalities in Valencia.
