President of Turkmenistan Arrives in Moscow For Working Visit

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived in the Russian Federation on Monday for a two-day working visit to participate in the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), held in Moscow.

According to the official media of Turkmenistan, high-ranking officials bid farewell to the President at Ashgabat International Airport.

After the flight to the Russian capital, the president's plane landed at Moscow's Vnukovo-2 airport, from where he proceeded to the residence designated for his stay.

During the CIS Council meeting, leaders are expected to exchange views on key areas of cooperation within the Commonwealth, outline future work priorities, and discuss pressing regional and international issues.
