AMC Overseas, Turkmenistan Discuss Export to Middle East
On August 30, 2024, a meeting occurred between Serdarmammet Garajayev, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the UAE, and Suvra Chakraborty, the Director of AMC Overseas. The primary focus of the meeting was to discuss AMC Overseas’ participation in the upcoming Investment Forum of Turkmenistan, scheduled for September 10-11, 2024, in Ashgabat.
During the meeting, Ambassador Garajayev noted that the forum aims to foster international cooperation and promote sustainable economic growth, making Mr. Chakraborty’s participation particularly valuable given AMC Overseas’ expertise in trading and investments across food and agricultural sectors.
The discussion also explored the possibility of AMC Overseas expanding its operations into Turkmenistan. Mr. Chakraborty expressed interest in this opportunity, particularly in the trading, investments, and agricultural industries. Additionally, both sides discussed the potential for AMC Overseas to facilitate the export of goods and food products from Turkmenistan to markets in the Middle East and Africa, leveraging Turkmenistan’s rich resources and strategic trade advantages.
