Today, a telephone conversation took place between the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, and the Prime Minister of Japan, Fumio Kishida.
Warmly greeting each other, the interlocutors expressed satisfaction in having the opportunity to personally discuss certain aspects of Turkmen-Japanese cooperation.
At the beginning of the conversation, Prime Minister of Japan expressed gratitude to the head of the Turkmen state for supporting the organization of the telephone conversation.
During the discussion, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that Turkmenistan highly values the level of established interstate relations with Japan and attaches special importance to their further development in all priority areas.
Both parties confirmed their interest not only in close bilateral cooperation between Turkmenistan and Japan but also in partnership within reputable international organizations, primarily the United Nations.
The Prime Minister of Japan, also expressing satisfaction with the high level of established interstate relations, emphasized the need to strengthen traditional ties and expand cooperation between the two countries within the framework of international organizations.
During the conversation, it was noted that an important place in the Turkmen-Japanese dialogue is given to the intensification of trade and economic contacts.
At the conclusion of the telephone conversation, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Prime Minister of Japan Fumio Kishida wished each other good health, well-being, and great success in their responsible state activities.
