On 15 July 2024, the fourth meeting of the Turkmen-Uzbek Business Council was held in Tashkent.
At the meeting, the Turkmen delegation was headed by Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan M.Gurdov, the Uzbek side was headed by the Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan D.Rasulov.
During the meeting, the parties discussed trade and economic opportunities of the two countries, in particular, they considered the possibilities of further expansion of bilateral partnership in the fields of energy, transport, logistics, agriculture, pharmaceutical industry and tourism. In addition, issues of intensifying contacts between the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the two countries were discussed at the meeting.
