The private enterprise Gül ülkäm plans to establish elevator production in Turkmenistan, Popyyeva Orazdursun reported to the correspondent of the online publication Business Turkmenistan during the XXIII International Exhibition "My White City Ashgabat," held May 24-25 in the country's capital.
"At present, the company has developed a new project to establish a manufacturing plant producing goods replacing imports in Turkmenistan, namely elevators and elevator equipment, and their spare parts, and has presented it to the relevant authorities of the country," said a specialist from Gül ülkäm enterprise.
The company was founded in 2013 and is engaged in the installation and maintenance of elevators.
The enterprise specialist also added that the company has currently installed high-speed elevators in several office and residential buildings in Ashgabat and Arkadag.
The private enterprise Gül ülkäm currently services 210 elevators throughout Turkmenistan. Since 2020, the company has been importing elevators from foreign countries, namely Türkiye, South Korea, and China, and installing them.
The Ministry of Industry and Construction Production of Turkmenistan, together with members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, plans the establishment of a manufacturing plant for elevators that will be installed in residential and administrative buildings, their repair, and maintenance.
