Turkmenistan President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda and Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Jamshid Kuchkarov in Ashgabat on Friday, as reported by Turkmen media.
Meeting with Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda:
During the meeting, the President of Turkmenistan and Prime Minister of Tajikistan discussed the prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation.
The Head of State noted that in recent years, high-level contacts between the two countries have become more active.
Meeting with Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Jamshid Kuchkarov:
During the conversation, Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan discussed key aspects of the fruitful Turkmen-Uzbek dialogue, successfully developed in bilateral and multilateral formats. In turn, Kuchkarov emphasized Uzbekistan's interest in further expanding comprehensive relations with Turkmenistan.
The Prime Ministers of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan arrived in Ashgabat to participate in the meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the CIS, which took place in the capital of Turkmenistan on May 24, 2024.
