On the occasion of the Constitution and State Flag Day of Turkmenistan, various festivities and cultural events are held in Ashgabat and all provinces.

Turkmenistan celebrates Constitution and State Flag Day on Thursday.

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov warmly congratulated the Turkmen people on Constitution and State Flag Day, the official Turkmen media reported.

"Our nation has accumulated solid experience in state governance, building a democratic and fair society, and celebrates important dates and events. Therefore, the Constitution and State Flag Day is a national holiday that increases the love for the homeland and inspires Turkmen people to new achievements," the message of the Turkmen President reads.

"Today we successfully put into practice strategic programs aimed at accelerated development of the country, forming an optimal model of economic development and modernization of its branches, improvement of the social protection system, employment and ensuring peaceful, prosperous and happy life of people," said the Head of State.
