Toshiaki Endo Invites President of Turkmenistan to EXPO 2025

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with the Chairman of the Japan-Turkmen Interparliamentary friendship group, Toshiaki Endo, in Ashgabat on Tuesday. The Chairman of the Japan-Turkmen Interparliamentary friendship group invited the Turkmen leader to participate in the World Expo "EXPO-2025," which will be held in Japan next year.

During the meeting, sides noted Turkmenistan's significant interest in participating in this global forum. In connection with this, a special organizing committee has been formed, and relevant preparatory work is currently underway, reports the official media of Turkmenistan.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished Japan success in hosting "EXPO-2025," which will be a significant event in the country's history and in World Expos.

Endo said he would be pleased to see Serdar Berdimuhamedov at the Summit of Heads of States Participants in the "Central Asia+Japan" dialogue format.

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov stated that the summit would be of great importance in developing effective interstate relations that meet common interests.

During the meeting, opinions were exchanged on the directions of Turkmen-Japanese cooperation. The parties also emphasized that the cultural and humanitarian system is an integral part of Turkmen-Japanese relations.

At the end of the meeting, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Chairman of the Japan-Turkmen Interparliamentary friendship group Toshiaki Endo expressed confidence that constructive interstate dialogue would continue to dynamically develop across its entire spectrum, relying on mutual goodwill and acquiring new content.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also met with the Chairman of the Japan-Turkmen Interparliamentary friendship group, Toshiaki Endo.
