January-March: Turkmenistan-China Trade Exceeds $2.5 Billion

The trade turnover between Turkmenistan and China in January-March of the current year $2.5 billion, according to China's General Customs Administration.

In March 2024 alone, the bilateral trade turnover between the two countries amounted to over $818 million.

Turkmenistan primarily exported goods to China, totaling around $2.39 billion during January-March. Meanwhile, imports from China to Turkmenistan reached approximately $212.94 million for the same period.

The main component of Turkmenistan's exports to China is natural gas, delivered via pipelines.
