President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov meets with representatives of German business community

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received on Wednesday the founder and managing partner of Goetzpartners Corporate Finance GmbH Stefan Goetz, co-founder and managing partner of the company Stefan Stankohanser, partner and management consultant of Goetzpartners Corporate Finance GmbH in the Dusseldorf office Armin Raffalski and managing director of Prodoehl Consult GmbH Hans Gerd Prodell.

During the meeting, the delegates confirmed the desire of the German business community to build productive ties with Turkmenistan that have created favorable conditions for effective economic partnership.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed confidence that during the current visit to Ashgabat the German partners would have good opportunities to discuss and exchange views with the Turkmen colleagues on promising projects and opportunities for investment cooperation.

During the meeting, the sides identified the trade and economic sphere as one of the priority vectors of partnership, noting that Turkmenistan and Germany cooperate effectively in agriculture, banking, transport, and communications.

The parties stressed good prospects for further multifaceted cooperation and optimal use of the existing potential. Turkmenistan confirmed its readiness to consider the proposals of its German partners.

At the end of the meeting, President Berdimuhamedov and the German business community expressed confidence that the meeting would contribute to the development of Turkmen-German economic cooperation and close business contacts on a long-term basis.
