During a recent online Cabinet of Ministers session on Friday, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan overseeing the construction and industrial sector, Baymyrat Annamammedov, expressed the feasibility of establishing cooperation with the Japanese company Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. to bring the plant Marykarbamid of the State Concern Türkmenhimiýa (Turkmen Chemicals) to its projected capacity.
The vice-premier noted that necessary work is underway to increase the production capacity of the Marykarbamid plant, including ensuring regular supply of required raw materials and chemicals, spare parts, and equipment, as well as technical maintenance and repair in accordance with established standards, as reported by Turkmenistan's official media.
Turkmenistan's President Serdar Berdimuhamedov approved the initiative to establish direct links with the Japanese company to ensure uninterrupted operation of the Marykarbamid plant and regular supply of raw materials and chemicals used in production according to technological norms, instructing the vice-premier to take appropriate measures.
The Cabinet of Ministers also discussed several other priority issues of state importance during the session.
