Turkmenistan Airlines plans to introduce flights from Ashgabat to London Gatwick, replacing the current flights to Heathrow, starting April 3, 2024.
As reported by AeroRoutes on Sunday, from this date, a Boeing 777-200LR aircraft will operate this route on a weekly basis.
Flight T5423 will depart from Ashgabat at 12:00, arriving at London Gatwick at 15:10 local time. The return flight, T5424, will depart from London at 16:55 and arrive in Ashgabat at 03:00 the next day.
Gatwick Airport is the second-largest airport in London and the second-busiest airport in the UK after Heathrow. Located in Crawley, West Sussex, approximately 46 km south of central London, Gatwick serves around two hundred destinations and is utilized by millions of passengers annually. Gatwick is a hub for several major airlines, including British Airways, EasyJet, and Virgin Atlantic.
