New Sewage Facility Inaugurated in Ahal Province of Turkmenistan

A new sewage treatment facility has been inaugurated in the Ahal province of Turkmenistan. The modern facility, situated within the Ahal gengeshlik area of Geokdepe district, was officially opened on Wednesday, as reported by Turkmenistan's official media.

The opening ceremony saw the participation of representatives from the regional and district administrations, affiliated enterprises, public organizations, members of the parliament, elders, and local residents.

According to the report, the sewage treatment facility has the capacity to process 20 thousand cubic meters per day.

The construction of this new facility was undertaken by Sport Ýyldyzy private construction company, a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET), adhering to high standards.

The project, commissioned by the Capital Construction Department of the Ahal province, encompasses various components, including an administrative building, chlorine production, filter management, wastewater section, water treatment, laboratory, compressor and transformer buildings, a tank for mixing purified water and chlorine, a pump station for backwash water, workshop, warehouse, as well as associated pools and fields.
