Turkmen President Congratulates Emir of Kuwait on Ascension to Throne
Serdar Berdimuhamedov, President of Turkmenistan, has conveyed on behalf of the people and Government of Turkmenistan heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Sheikh Mishal al-Ahmad al-Jaber Al Sabah on his ascension to the throne as Emir of the State of Kuwait. The official Turkmen media reported this on Friday.
"We highly value the fraternal relations between Turkmenistan and the State of Kuwait. I am firmly convinced that, thanks to our joint efforts, the relations between our two countries will continue to develop and expand in the interests of our peoples," the message said.
Taking this opportunity, the head of state extended wishes of robust health, inexhaustible energy, and happiness to Emir Mishal al-Ahmad al-Jaber Al Sabah and to the fraternal people of the State of Kuwait - wishes of peace, progress, and prosperity.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Kuwait has declared 83-year-old Crown Prince Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah as the Emir of the State of Kuwait, Kuwait News Agency reports.
