The trade partnership between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan witnessed an exceptional surge, marking a remarkable 73 percent increase or $311.8 million in January-November 2023 compared to the corresponding period in 2022.
As reported by Azerbaijan’s APA news agency on Sunday, the total trade turnover for this period reached an impressive $738.9 million.
Exports from Azerbaijan to Turkmenistan experienced a four-fold increase, reaching $77.3 million during this reporting period. Concurrently, exports from Turkmenistan to Azerbaijan surged by 62.4 percent, reaching a notable $661.6 million.
Turkmenistan claims the sixth position on the list of countries where Azerbaijan exports non-oil products.
This surge in trade compared to the $427 million recorded in January-November 2022.
