The retail turnover volume in Turkmenistan in January-November 2023 increased by 9.9 percent compared to 2022, the official Turkmen media reported on Friday.
The Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations has reported that the growth rate of trade turnover in Turkmenistan reached 100.7 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. Similarly, the production output increased by 100.7 percent during the same period. The State Commodity Exchange held 275 trading sessions and concluded 27,762 contracts.
The growth rate for the work performed by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry during the period under review was 109.9 percent. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry held 26 exhibitions and 78 forums from January to November.
According to the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, agricultural and food production volume growth for the period reached 109 percent, while industrial production experienced a growth rate of 109.4 percent.
