Turkmenistan Airlines, Turkmenistan’s flag carrier, received its fourth Boeing 777-200LR on Monday.
The airplane is considered as the world’s last Boeing 777-200LR passenger plane, AviationNepal.com media agency reported on Thursday. The aircraft was assembled in Boeing Everett Factory in the United States.
Turkmenistan Airlines currently operates three Boeing 777-200LR aircrafts. The Airline placed an order for new Boeing 777-200LR plane, valued at $346.9 million, in mid-2019.
The new 777-200LR is the 32nd airplane purchased by Turkmenistan’s flag carrier from Boeing.
The Boeing 777-200LR is the longest range commercial airplane in the world, capable of connecting virtually any two cities in the world nonstop. It has a maximum range of 15,843 kilometers and carries more passengers and revenue cargo farther than any other jetliner. The 777-200LR is equipped with the powerful commercial jet engine, and can seat up to 317 passengers in two-class configuration.
