State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered a total of 49 transactions last week.
The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week exceeded $22.206 million, Turkmenistan’s Golden Age news outlet reported on Sunday.
Businesses based in Russia, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan purchased colorless sheet glass, plain-dyed and jacquard terry products, and cotton yarn for foreign currency.
In addition, companies from the UAE, Malta, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan purchased aviation kerosene, gasoline and low-sulfur fuel oil produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries for foreign currency. In addition, businesses from Afghanistan bought gasoline produced at Seydi Oil Refinery. Businesses from Russia, the UAE and Turkey purchased High Density Poly Ethylene (HDPE).
Businesses from the UAE, Scotland, Turkey, Pakistan and Armenua purchased cotton yarn and hand-made carpets for a total of over 22.132 million manats.
