Representatives of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the Portugal Global Trade and Investment Agency (AICEP) held online talks on Wednesday.

During the talks, the Turkmen side was led by the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Dovletgeldi Rejepov, and the Portuguese side was headed by the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the AICEP Luis Castro Henriquez.
Representatives of Ministry of Industry and Construction Production of Turkmenistan, Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan, Türkmenhaly (Turkmen Carpets) State Association, Türkmendeňizderýaýollary (Turkmen Sea and River Lines) Agency and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan also took part in the discussions on the establishment and development of trade and economic relations between the two countries.
During the negotiations, the delegations made presentations of the economic and investment opportunities of their countries and exchanged views on ways and forms of cooperation.
The meeting participants indentified industry and construction, agriculture, textile industry, transport and logistics sectors as the main and promising areas of cooperation.
