Turkmen specialists will modernize textile enterprises, while the Cormatex Srl will equip the new production lines.
In accordance with the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan and the Italian Cormatex Srl company, the Ministry plans to create a number of new production lines at the Bayramali Textile Complex and the Dashoguz Cotton Spinning Mill, TDH news agency reported on Friday.
During the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Deputy Prime Minister Chary Gylyjov reported on the corresponding matter to the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
Particularly, Turkmen specialists will modernize textile enterprises, while the Cormatex Srl will equip the new production lines.
The Head of State stressed that due to the use of advanced technologies, the Turkmen textile industry increases its competitiveness not only in the domestic market, but also internationally.
Turkmen President added that appropriate advertising and information support is also important for more active promotion of textile products abroad.
During the meeting, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also signed a Resolution authorizing the Ministry of Textile Industry to participate on a shared basis in the establishment of the Mary Deri-Aýakgap Open Joint Stock Company with 40% ownership interest, and gave relevant instructions.
