Turkmenistan’s Türkmennebit Ups Oil, Gas Production

Türkmennebit State Concern implemented the seven-month production plan for the oil and gas by 106.7% and 148.6%, respectively.

Türkmennebit (Turkmen Oil) State Concern produced 2.29 million tons of crude oil and 1.157 billion cubic meters of natural gas during the first seven months of 2020, the online newspaper of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan reported on Tuesday.

According to the report, the company implemented the seven-month production plan for the oil and gas by 106.7% and 148.6%, respectively.

The State Concern also conducts successful drilling operations, which is important in the development of hydrocarbon resources. Thus, over the past period, the Concern’s Nebitdag Drilling Department drilled a total of 125.2 thousand meters. According to the results of seven months, the depth covered was 34,679 meters, and the additional depth covered was 3,375 meters.

During the corresponding period, the Korpeje Drilling Department of the Concern has successfully completed drilling operations on 10 new wells, of which 8 are operational wells.

Goturdepe and Ekerem production units of the Türkmennebit also carry out drilling operations. All departments of the Concern effectively use special overhead cranes with a 12.5-ton capacity, which ensure high-quality transportation and installation of pipes.
