Two Medical Centers Inaugurated in Ashgabat
The opening of the International Wellness and Rehabilitation Center, with a capacity of 400 beds, and the International Scientific and Clinical Center of Physiology, with 250 beds, took place in Ashgabat.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, attended the official ceremony, as reported by Turkmenistan's official media on Wednesday.
The celebration of Healthcare Workers' Day also marked the opening of a glycyrrhizic acid production plant in Turkmenabat, and administrative buildings for sanitary and epidemiological services in the Mary province.
The inauguration of these new facilities, further enhancing the ever-improving infrastructure of the national healthcare system, is a clear testament to the special attention given to the health of the citizens. The well-being and happiness of the people remain an unconditional priority in the social policies initiated by Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and successfully continued under the leadership of President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
