A group of Turkmen journalists visited the Olive Oil Museum and a workshop dedicated to its production in the town of Urla, Izmir province in Türkiye. They also toured the ancient city of Ephesus and the Ephesus Experience Museum.

At the Olive Oil Museum, the participants learned about the oil production process, from the harvesting of olives to their processing. In the workshop, they were shown traditional methods used by local artisans. Journalists from Business Turkmenistan, THP, Orient, Turkmenportal, Culture and Tourism magazine, In Ashgabat, and News Central Asia highlighted the significance of olive oil in Türkiye's culture and economy.

Following the workshop tour, the delegation headed to Ephesus, where they explored famous historical landmarks such as the Library of Celsus and the Temple of Artemis. The Ephesus Experience Museum offered journalists a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the city’s ancient history through interactive exhibits and multimedia technologies.

"Visiting these sites was a true discovery, allowing us to gain a deeper understanding of the region’s history and traditions," noted a representative from Business Turkmenistan online publication.

Such exchanges between countries help strengthen ties and foster mutual understanding in the cultural sphere, which is particularly important in today’s world.

The group of Turkmen journalists also visited the picturesque town of Alaçatı in Izmir province, paying special attention to Urla Street. This wide street is renowned for its variety of local handicrafts, artisan works, and artworks, creating an atmosphere of creativity and uniqueness.
