Throughout history, knowledge has always been the most valued asset, which explains the deep reverence that Turkmens have for learning and science. This attitude, evident throughout our people's glorious history, has allowed us to contribute to the treasury of human civilization. Today, as our Motherland strides forward on the path of progress, reform, and creation, we are successfully implementing state programs to reform our national education system, guided by our national experience and drawing on advanced developments.

The measures we are taking in this area are coordinated and comprehensive, positively impacting not only the strengthening of the education system's foundation but also the preparation of the younger generation with fundamental knowledge and a strong moral compass. These efforts are carried out in the spirit of patriotism and responsibility for the great future of our Motherland and our people. Additionally, these targeted efforts significantly enhance the value of science and education in society.

On the occasion of Knowledge and Student Youth Day in the year “The Ocean of Wisdom—Magtymguly Pyragy,” we present first-graders, who are just beginning their journey into the world of knowledge, with personal Bilimli computers as a keepsake. Ceremonies for the opening of new schools and kindergartens are taking place in villages and cities across our country. All these events fully demonstrate the achievements of our national education system and its development in line with global trends.

We will continue to focus on bringing our education system up to international standards, creating all the necessary conditions for the harmonious development of our youth, and broadening their horizons.

A generation that understands the history and modern achievements of our sovereign Motherland, is devoted to family values, parents, relatives, and their people, possesses fundamental scientific knowledge, and loves their native land with all their heart is our pride. You are expected to follow the teachings of great scholars and sages like Oghuz Khan, Toghrul Beg, Chagri Beg, Alp Arslan, Sultan Sanjar, Dovletmammet Azadi, Nurmuhammet Andalib, Magtymguly Pyragy, and others. You, who are committed to the ancestral principles of patriotism, unity, friendship, and brotherhood, should be known as worthy successors of their noble principles, ensuring the continuity of times, generations, and cultures. Dedication to learning, hard work, and a desire for creation and the enhancement of the Motherland's glory and reputation should be your guiding principles in life.

To mark Knowledge and Student Youth Day, we are also inaugurating a new complex of buildings for the Specialized Military School in Ashgabat, named after the teacher, soldier, and highly respected figure Berdimuhamet Annayev, whose life serves as an example of service to the Motherland and love for it. This event once again demonstrates our profound respect for outstanding historical figures.

Modern schools, kindergartens, and vocational institutions are being built across the country, equipped with advanced computer and multimedia technologies, as well as educational and methodological resources. The scientific, theoretical, and practical components of education are being improved. Our efforts in this area allow us to bring our specialized education system up to global standards. At the same time, we place great importance on expanding friendly and mutually beneficial ties with major international organizations and other countries in the fields of science and education.

On this significant day, we will also inaugurate the Magtymguly Secondary School, with a capacity of 540 students, in the Ergash Sultanov farming association in the Dusti district of the Khatlon province of the Republic of Tajikistan.

We have great respect for the work of our compatriots who have earned the esteemed title of teacher. They perform immense work to support the sovereignty of our beloved Motherland, to communicate its brilliant successes to the youth, and to ensure the happy life of our people, directing the energy and intellectual and creative potential of young citizens toward achieving grand goals. By adopting the Concept for Improving Teaching Methods for General Education Programs in Turkmenistan until 2028, we are launching new educational reforms from the 2024-2025 academic year, based on advanced global practices and national principles of the education system.

Guided by the concepts of transitioning to a twelve-year general secondary education in Turkmenistan, improving foreign language instruction, developing the digital education system, and enhancing the quality of teaching natural and exact sciences, you must continuously strive to improve your work to ensure the healthy development and comprehensive preparation of our youth. Always engaging in creative pursuits to educate a knowledgeable, literate, physically strong, and spiritually rich younger generation in the spirit of patriotism, you must aim to achieve excellent results in improving the quality of education.
