Turkmenistan and Türkiye's trade turnover totaled $541.05 million in January-March 2023, which is 27.4 percent more than in the first three months of last year (424.67 million), Trend news agency reported on Friday with reference to the Institute of Statistics of Türkiye.
According to the report, Turkmen exports to Türkiye totaled $306.06 million in the reporting period, a 34.6 percent increase over the same period in 2022 ($227.4 million).
In the first three months of 2023 Turkmenistan increased its imports from Türkiye by 19.1 percent to $234.99 million compared to the same period in 2022 ($197.27 million).
The trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Türkiye in 2022 exceeded $2.067 billion, an increase of 21.9 percent over last year.
