New Mother and Child Health Center Inaugurated in Mary

The opening of the Mother and Child Health Protection Center took place on Wednesday in the city of Mary, Turkmenistan. The event was attended by Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, heads of relevant structures, esteemed elders, healthcare workers, representatives of public organizations, and the media.

Also participating in the opening ceremony were children who underwent treatment funded by the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care, as reported by Turkmenistan's official media.

Additionally, the Mother and Child Health Protection Center of Mary Province received from the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care two Dialog+ hemodialysis systems (artificial kidneys), produced by the German company B. Braun.

The medical facility for women accommodates 200 people and includes a maternity ward, a department for pregnant women with pathologies, and a gynecological department.

The children's unit accommodates 260 people and comprises departments for newborn pathology, early childhood, nephrology, neurology, school-age children, and rheumocardiology.

The hospital also features a diagnostic department, a hyperbaric chamber for adults, physiotherapy and therapeutic exercise rooms, a laboratory, administrative offices, a conference hall, a cafeteria for patients and staff, a modern parking lot, laundry facilities, and a disinfection unit.

On the same day, Turkmenistan's President Serdar Berdimuhamedov presented about 200 new buses to the Maryawtoulag production association of the Türkmenawtoulaglary agency.

The new vehicles, manufactured in Japan, include 170 mid-size Toyota Coaster buses and 20 small Toyota Hiace buses.
