Turkmen Leader Congratulates Vladimir Putin on Presidential Election Victory

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, on behalf of the people and the Government of Turkmenistan, as well as personally, extended heartfelt congratulations to Vladimir Putin on his victory and re-election as President of the Russian Federation, as reported by Turkmenistan's official media on Monday.

"Your re-election to this post is a testament to the high level of trust placed in you and recognition of your merits to the country. I am confident that under your leadership, further progress will be achieved in the economy of the state, ensuring prosperity and well-being for the entire Russian people. Your professionalism and rich political experience will contribute to the further expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation," emphasized the Head of Turkmenistan.

"It is gratifying to note the high level of Turkmen-Russian bilateral relations, vividly reflecting the fruitful partnership and close interaction between our countries across a wide range of areas. The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also congratulated Vladimir Putin on his victory in the presidential elections.

On March 19, 2024, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedow and the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin had a phone conversation. During the conversation, the Head of State personally and on behalf of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, sincerely congratulated Vladimir Putin on his victory in the recent presidential elections of the Russian Federation.

According to TASS with the reference to the Central Election Commission of Russia, the Russian presidential elections took place from March 15 to 17 this year, and the incumbent President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, won the presidential elections, garnering 87.28 percent of the votes.
