Bakery, located in Kerki district of Turkmenistan’s eastern province Lebap, has produced more than 1,000 tons of bread and bakery products since the beginning of the year, the country’s official media reported on Wednesday.
In January-February period, the Kerki Bakery produced 995 tons of bread and bakery products and its total income amounted to about 2 million manats.
In 2022, the bakery produced more than 5.200 tons of products, exceeding the last year’s production plan (2.770 tons).
According to the report, the enterprise produces 8 types of products, among which "Ruhubelent", "Altyn däne", "Altyn asyr" and "Höwesli" are in high demand.
Kerki etrap bakery was founded in 1938. The products of the bakery are sent to shopping centers, educational institutions, sanatoriums, consumer associations of Kerki city and the surrounding villages. In addition, the bakery also provides its products to the residents of Kerkichi village, located on the right bank of the Amudarya River.
