Turkmenbashi International Seaport is the main passenger harbour and cargo port of Turkmenistan.
Turkmenbashi International Seaport is developing a TOS software program integrated with the ports of neighboring countries.
According to Khudaiberdy Saparov, a specialist in the Information Systems Department of the seaport of Turkmenistan, the program is intended to exchange ship documents.
“Turkmenbashi International Seaport is transitioning to digital, along with other systems. The port terminals will be managed through new programs,” Saparov said. "The program is designed to establish integrated communication with neighboring ports and to digitalize the loading and unloading of cargo arriving at the port."
According to the specialist, the program allows to save time and organize work without flaws by digitalizing the documentations on cargo operations.
Turkmenbashi International Seaport is the main passenger harbour and cargo port in Turkmenbashi, Turkmenistan. It is located in the eastern part of the Caspian Sea. Regular lines serve routes to Baku (Azerbaijan), Aktau (Kazakhstan) and Astrakhan (Russia). It is the largest seaport in Turkmenistan.
