Between 1972 and April 2022, the Turkish contractors have undertaken 11,243 projects in 113 countries.
To date, the Turkish construction firms have implemented in Turkmenistan projects worth $49.9 billion, the newspaper Hürriyet reported on Tuesday with reference to the data of Trade Ministry of Turkey.
The newspaper said this indicator makes Turkmenistan the second largest market for Turkish contractors after Russia, where the construction firms have undertaken some $95.3 billion worth of projects as of April 2022.
During the past five decades, The Turkish firms have carried out $31.6 billion worth of projects in Iraq, $29.5 billion worth of projects in Libya and raked in another $27 billion in revenues from the contracts they have been awarded in Kazakhstan.
Between 1972 and April 2022, the Turkish contractors have undertaken 11,243 projects in 113 countries, with the size of those contracts amounting to $457.6 billion.
In January-April, the companies from Turkey have been awarded 102 projects abroad worth a total of $3.75 billion. In April alone, they were granted 28 projects in foreign markets worth $673 million.
