The design and construction of five 4-storey 60-apartment apartment buildings was entrusted to Ynamly Hyzmatdaşlar Economic Society.

On the instruction of Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the foundation laying ceremony for a new residential complex was held in the city of Turkmenbashi in Turkmenistan’s western province of Balkan on Friday, the country's official media reports.

The celebration was attended by the heads of the transport and communication complex branch structures, the province and city governors, honorary elders, representatives of public organizations, the media and local residents.

The design and construction of five 4-storey 60-apartment apartment buildings was entrusted to Ynamly Hyzmatdaşlar Economic Society. The company will also landscape the area adjacent to the new buildings.

External and internal water supply networks, sewerage, electricity, gas and communications systems will be laid to the buildings. The Turkmen construction company will also build access and internal roads of the residential area, as well its sidewalks.

The residential complex will be commissioned in 2024.

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution on construction of the relevant buildings with the aim to create more comfortable living conditions for employees of the country's transport and communication complex.
