The textile complexes of Turkmenistan currently produce products under the brands Goza, Wada, Bedew, Nusaý, Gala, Arwana, Bürgüt, Ýeňiş and Ak pamyk.
Chary Gylyjov, Deputy Chairman of the Turkmen Government, overseeing the country’s trade and textile complex, during the online cabinet meeting on Friday briefed the President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov about the ongoing works on creation of new brands for textile products.
During the meeting, the Vice-Premier presented the samples of various brand marks of new products manufactured at Kaka and Babadayhan textile complexes proposed by the Ministry of Textile Industry of the country.
Approving the new textile brands of Jeýtun and Mäne, the President said Turkmen designers should develop and put into production new lines of clothing and other textile products by studying the demands of the domestic market, focusing on the seasonal needs of the population.
The modern textile complexes that recently opened in Kaka and Babadayhan etraps produces different fabrics. Capacity of these enterprises allows producing 1.2 million and 3.5 million units of finished clothing a year respectively.
