The project is aimed at ensuring reliable power supply to production facilities of the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil.
President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov during a Friday meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers signed a Resolution on the reconstruction of the first and second electrical substations of the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries (TCOR), TDH news agency reports.
During the government meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Myratgeldi Meredov noted that the project is aimed at ensuring reliable power supply to production facilities of the TCOR.
According to the document, the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries is authorized to conclude a contract with a Consortium consisting of INVEST Enterprises Limited of China’s Hong Kong and Azap Individual Enterprise for the reconstruction of two electrical substations at its own expense.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov addressed the Deputy Prime Minister with instructions for further technical re-equipment of the enterprises of the complex, the introduction of effective technologies that ensure deep, waste-free processing of hydrocarbons, innovative methods of production of oil and gas chemical products, as well as expanding its range.
Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries is the largest enterprise in Turkmenistan. In terms of its scale, it is comparable to the leading oil refining concerns. The TCOR includes two plants, numerous oil depots and filling stations.
