Ak Gaýa Economic Society, the producer and trader construction materials in Turkmenistan, exports its dry building mixtures to the CIS countries, in particular, to Russia, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan.

In an interview with Business Turkmenistan at the exhibition dedicated to Turkmenistan’s 30th independence anniversary in Ashgabat, the company’s representative said the Ak Gaýa’s plant, located in Turkmenbashi etrap of Balkan velayat, is capable of producing 100,000 tons of building materials per year.

The company produces four types of plasters: perlite gypsum plaster, finishing plaster, molding gypsum, and machine applied gypsum plaster. Materials are packed in bags of 30 kilograms.

The company purchases the main raw materials from local producers, while importing chemical additives from Germany, Turkey, Ukraine and South Korea in order to improve the quality and effectiveness of building mixtures.

In December 2020, Ak Gaýa opened its plant for the production of dry building mixtures and plasterboard in Balkan velayat.

The plant is designed to produce 1 million square meters of plasterboard per month. The plasterboards are 2.4 meter long, 1.20 meter wide. The thickness of the ceiling plasterboard is 9.5 millimeters, while the thickness of the wall plasterboard is 12.5 millimeters. The material is available in three types: traditional white, moisture resistant green, and fire resistant red.

Ak gaýa has also recently started producing interior and exterior wall paints, plastic pipes of different sizes and two types of cables.
