The Exhibition dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Turkmenistan’s independence kicked off at the Expocentre of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.

The two-day exhibition gathered the state sector of the economy, including the Ministry of Economy and Development, the Ministry of Textile Industry, the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange, the Turkmen Gas, Turkmen Chemicals and Turkmen Oil State Concerns, and private companies operating in the country.

Members of the Government and media representatives also attended the fair.

In a congratulatory letter sent to the participants of the exhibition, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said “during the glorious 30 years of great independence, high milestones have been achieved in the innovative transformation of the country's national economic complex, diversification of industry, building up the potential of the national economy, progressively improving the standard of living of our people, which are the priority directions of state policy.”

The exhibition highlights the achievements of Turkmenistan over the years of independence, the development of the national economy and public life.
