Since the beginning of this year, Turkmenistan exported over 11 thousand tons of cotton yarn worth over $37.5 million, the country’s official media reported on Thursday.

The country also reportedly increased export of licorice root and different products derived from them. Since the beginning of 2021, foreign businesses have purchased 672 tons of dry extract of licorice root worth over $3.78 million and 44 tons of dried unpeeled root and rhizome of licorice worth over $30.5 thousand.
During the period, Turkmenistan also exported more than 20 thousand tons of M500 Portland cement for over $1 million and 972 tons of non-distilled fatty acids of cottonseed oil soap stock worth more than $395.7 thousand.
