UAE-based Company to Supply Communications Equipment to Türkmenaragatnaşyk

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stressed that the country is currently implementing systemic measures to digitize all spheres of the national economy.

Türkmenaragatnaşyk Agency of the Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan will conclude a contract with Beat Trade FZE, based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), for the purchase, delivery, installation, launch of the relevant equipment, software and licenses for the modernization of the multiservice data transmission network, and provision of technical support.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the relevant Resolution authorizing the signing of the contract during the online meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Friday, the country’s official media reports.

This Resolution was prepared in order to further improve the work on the implementation of the Concept for the development of the digital economy in Turkmenistan for 2019-2025, according to the report.

Having signed the document, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stressed that the country is currently implementing systemic measures to digitize all spheres of the national economy, introduce scientific developments into production, which is of great importance in improving the activities of industries in accordance with modern requirements.

Focusing on the need to strengthen activities carried out in this area and to further modernize the industries, the Head of State instructed the Head of the Agency to intensify the implementation of digitalization projects, paying special attention to building up the relevant infrastructure.
