Production of New Generation Toothbrushes Starts in Turkmenistan

The company produces toothbrushes under the Cv-dent brand.

Täze Saba Economic Society has put into operation the first workshop of the plant for the production of new generation toothbrushes using nanotechnology in Turkmenistan, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET) reported on Friday.

The new workshop is equipped with high-tech machinery from German and Austrian manufacturers. The company produces toothbrushes under the Cv-dent brand.

The company purchases raw material for the production of toothbrush bodies - polypropylene – from the Kiyanly polymer plant in Balkan velayat. The base – the bristles – comes from Italy, the other important components come from Mexico, and the pet film and cardboard for packaging are purchased from Russia. The company plans to launch production of its own packaging materials in the near future, according to the report.

The Cv-dent toothbrushes for children and adults can be purchased in the stores of the capital and velayats of the country. The company also shipped its products to Dubai. Additional agreements were also reached on the supply of Turkmen toothbrushes to Uzbekistan and Russia.

Täze Saba started the construction of the new enterprise on the territory of the Yangala settlement of Ahal velayat’s Gokdepe etrap in 2019. Upon full commissioning the, the enterprise will be able to produce 25 thousand items per day. The solemn opening of the factory for the production of toothbrushes will be timed to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the independence of Turkmenistan.
