Turkmenbashi refinery’s Kenar enterprise shipped 1.204 million tons of oil products to foreign markets over the first seven months of this year.
Kenar Oil Storage and Loading Enterprise of the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries (TCOR), Turkmenistan’s flagship oil refinery, shipped 42.492 million tons of petroleum products to consumers in January-July 2021, the country’s official media reported on Wednesday.
During the period, the enterprise shipped 1.204 million tons of oil products to foreign markets, sold on the domestic market about 2.5 million tons of finished products.
In 2018, automatic railway loading facility was launched at the Kenar enterprise. The railway loading dock is designed to load 3.85 million tons of oil products annually.
The UK-based Petro Gas LLP will provide services for the design and construction of the third oil berth at the Kenar enterprise. The facility is expected to be completed and commissioned within 30 months.
