Entrepreneur Atamyrat Jumakuliyev’s enterprise in the city of Turkmenabat in Turkmenistan’s Lebap velayat produces from 100 to 120 thousand pairs of socks a month under the BAT trademark, the country’s Rysgal newspaper on Monday.
The plant has installed Chinese and Italian equipment, automating the production process, according to the report.
The company produces thick and thin socks of different lengths and different sizes for children, women and men.
BAT brand products’ are 75% pure cotton yarn. Elastic materials such as spandex and elastane are also used in the production.
Atamurad Jumakuliyev's enterprise, founded in 2017, currently employs about 40 specialists.
